2021 Pantone's Colors of the Year

The long-awaited announcement of Pantone’s Color of the Year is finally here. This year, Pantone announced two colors: Ultimate Gray and Illuminating giving the perfect opportunity to minimalists and maximalists alike to stay trendy when decorating their home. We rounded up some of our favorite pieces and fabrics along with some tips to make decorating with Pantone’s Colors of the Year easier.

Pick a statement piece

Statement pieces are an easy way to create visual interest with ease. Atypical silhouettes naturally help draw the eye while highlighting textures and colors. For simplistic options, opt for the Womb Chair and Ottoman in Chartreuse, or the Angelo Dining Chair in Glacier Grey, as their silhouettes add complexity but look cohesive in any space.

Opt for an accent piece

Accent pieces can be subtle ways to incorporate new colors or textures without making the space feel uncoordinated. An easy way to add depth and dimension to any room in your home is by adding a pouf. With different heights and sizes, the Nova Pouf can upgrade any space while being a stylish addition.

Be Mindful of Finishes

Textures can elevate and modernize any space. For minimalists, Malmo is an ideal option as the smooth texture pairs well with the muted grey fabric, coming together to add refinement to any space. With textured fabrics, such as our Vintage Velvets or Classic Boucle Wools; these fabrics are ideal for those who prefer pops of colors or texture to add drama to their space. Being mindful of how different textures pair together can help create a beautiful and cohesive space.
