A year in review

It might even be said that we accomplished more this year than in our five years since the inception of Rove. This was definitely our biggest year to date, and we couldn’t have done it without you. Watch our year in review and see how great we did,

Top 5 things we did this year:

1.    Launched Modern Contemporary

September marked the launch of new European Inspired pieces. Stemming away from the iconic mid-century character of Rove Classics and predominantly pure designs of Rove Concepts' popularity introduced a fresh dose of contemporary diversity to Rove Concepts. In addition, the launch of these new pieces came our first custom sofa collection, offering an array of sizes and colors to meet every home’s unique needs. And, without previous entry, we saw an opportunity to challenge our domain and released our first ever bedroom collection. We look forward to a second launch for a new bedroom line in 2017.

2.    Got our own photographer, videographer, and grew our team by 36%

Needless to say, our visual content has seen exponential improvements. Just look at our Instagram. We also entered new territory and have captured new audiences with the addition of our own videographer. His creativity and vision can be seen in our most recent posts in The Journal, on YouTube and in our online video gallery, coming soon. Alongside our new photographer and videographer, we added a new member to the dev team, the design team, the marketing team, sales and we even got a dedicated project manager (sort of like an office mom, for all of us wild kids running ‘round). Careers at Rove Concepts are blooming.

3.    Launched our forth website redesign

Internally we called it Rove 4.0, the fourth revamp of our entirely in-house designed and built website. With an integrated blog, new features and overall better design, this is the most seamless site we’ve shared yet. Thanks to our new team mates, we’re pleased to offer the best user-experience to our customers.

4.    Opened a new headquarters

At first, our founders worked out of the living room of a small apartment building the foundations of this e-commerce empire. They made enough to open a humble showroom slash office, which has now been converted into a full sized showroom. Proving dreams do come true, our 6500 sq ft HQ is expected to pop up in all your friends’ news feeds in 2017. Within our 6500 sq ft HQ is also a freshly white painted photo studio equipped with heavy lights and amazing potential. Our content creation team has been hard at work, playing in the Rove Studio since July amidst the HQ renovations.

5. Reforested the planet

With every purchase, a tree is planted.  Our partnership with non-profit reforestation projects around the world has significantly helped us offset our impact on the environment. We have not only helped restore the forests from which we've borrowed, but have also contributed to the betterment of communities through providing education and equality for women. We cannot wait to see the impact we will make for our shared earth. Together we look forward to making a better home for all.

Alas the year has come to an end. What’s in store for 2017? We shall see the growth of our 20-something employed team as departments front and back end alike add new members, strategies, and plans. We have already begun work on enhancing our delivery experience for our customers. And yes, new collections will be seen as soon as spring. Thanks for an amazing year!
